Biography :ROARK Harold E. Roark, 92, Of London Died Monday, January 14, 2019 In London. Born December 17, 1926 In Ashland, KY; He Was A Son Of Pearl And Ethel (May) Roark. A US Navy Veteran Of WWII, Harold Also Served In The Air National Guard In Springfield And Army National Guard In London. He Retired In 1987 As A Stationary Engineer From The London Correctional Institution. Survivors Include His Sons Harold Roark, Jr And John “Fred” Roark (fiancée Kim West); Two Grandchildren, Five Great-grandchildren; Brother Charles Roark, Sister Barbara Davis And Several Nieces And Nephews. I didn't know Harold all that well but I did have the pleasure of playing golf with him in the Thursday morning league for the last 3 years. From what little time I spent with them I can tell you he seemed like one hell of a guy and I always enjoy playing with him. My condolences.
