I had the good fortune to know Herb for sixty years; having grown up one block from the courthouse. Herb was so kind and trusting to all his family and friends. You will never meet a better person than Herb. John O'Connell Grandview Heights

Billy and Matthew. So Sorry to her the news on your Dad. Please give my condolences and prayers to your families and all of the relatives. Heard the news on Facebook and sad to say I will not be able 5o make it home. You Da$ was an original and one of the last of that great generation of people. I wrote a little bit on your Dad and I will put it here fot you. Thanks Greg for the news. He was not only a cousin but he was a great guy. So sorry to hear the news. He was always a fixture at London sporting events and you could count on his conversation, comments on the team and what was going on in town. There are not many left of that generation. They served their county abroad and home in so many ways. He was a very fair and tough lawman but he knew when and how to be both. I got many a lecture and talking to from him (know that’s hard to believe
